Terms of use.

These terms apply to the MindClerk app and to this website, both provided by CodeLoom (“we”). By downloading or using MindClerk you agree to them.
The beta
MindClerk is in a private beta, open by invitation. Beta software can change, lose features or contain bugs. Downloads will open together with accounts and plans; their terms and prices will be posted on this website before they apply to you.
Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use MindClerk on Macs you own or control. You may not sell, sublicense or redistribute the app, or remove its notices. Open-source components included in the app are licensed under their own terms, listed in the app.
Your content
What you dictate, record and write with MindClerk is yours. It is processed on your Mac, and only sent to third-party services you configure yourself — see the privacy policy. We do not claim any rights to it.
Third-party services
If you connect a cloud AI or speech provider, Google, or any other service, your use of it is governed by that provider’s terms, and any charges are between you and them. We are not responsible for third-party services.
Using it responsibly
Do not use MindClerk to break the law. In particular, when you record a conversation, you are responsible for informing the participants and obtaining their consent where required.
No warranty
MindClerk and this website are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. AI output can be wrong: check what matters before you send it.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of MindClerk or this website. Keep backups of anything important.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms; the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. You can stop using MindClerk at any time by deleting it and its data.
