Refund policy

30 days on your first payment

If MindClerk isn’t for you, write to [email protected] within 30 days of your account’s first payment — monthly or yearly — and we refund it in full, with no questions beyond which account it is. The guarantee applies once per account and once per payment method.

Renewal

A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it. We say so before you pay and in every receipt, and we e-mail you 7 days before a yearly renewal.

Cancelling

You can cancel any time from your account, in Stripe’s billing portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal: you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for, then move to Free. There are no refunds, full or partial, for the unused part of a period.

After 30 days

After the first 30 days, payments are not refunded, except:

• if we stop providing MindClerk, or materially reduce a paid plan you have paid for — then we refund the unused part of your period;
• where the law requires a refund.

If the terms are broken

An account suspended or closed for breaking the terms of use — for example for getting around limits, abuse, or a chargeback without contacting us first — gets no refund for the rest of its paid period.

EU and UK customers

You normally have 14 days to withdraw from a contract for a digital service. At checkout you are asked to agree that MindClerk starts at once and that you lose this right once it has started. Our 30-day guarantee on your first payment is wider than that right, so you still have it.

Switching plans

Moving to another plan or billing period happens in the billing portal, which shows the amount before you confirm; the unused part of the old plan is credited towards the new one, not paid out.

Charges you don’t recognise

Write to us first — we answer quickly and put mistakes right. While a chargeback is open we may pause access to paid features. A chargeback decided against you ends the plan immediately and we may refuse further purchases.

Prices and tax

Prices are in US dollars and shown without tax; tax is calculated at checkout from your address.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the card or wallet you paid with, through Stripe; your bank usually shows them within 5–10 business days. A refunded plan ends at once and the account moves to Free. Nothing on your Mac is deleted.

Your statutory rights

This policy adds to the rights you have as a consumer where you live; it does not take any away.
